Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in a blended Ortho Progressive Care Unit, requiring a VA or compact license and at least 12 months of PCU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Ortho Progressive Care Unit within a hospital setting
- Blended unit involving orthopedic progressive care patients
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00 to 07:00
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Candidates must adhere to a drug and tobacco-free workplace policy
- Natural nail policy is enforced; no artificial nails allowed
- Holidays are not guaranteed off, and requested time off must be included for consideration
- Smoke-free campus; no smoking permitted on the property
- Fingerprinting and background check required with start date contingent on completed results
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a progressive care or equivalent unit
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE; diploma, associate, or BSN accepted)
- BSN preferred
- Must not have been employed at the facility within the previous 12 months
