Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care radiology unit providing general x-ray services
• Work involves alternating schedules: week one consists of three 12-hour shifts (Friday-Sunday, 7p-7:30a), week two consists of two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts (Thursday-Sunday, 10:30p-7a and 7p-7:30a)
• Patient population includes adults in an acute care hospital setting
• Use of Epic EMR for charting
• Traveler must supply their own radiation badge, as the facility does not provide one
• Red scrub top and black scrub pants are required attire
• No local travelers accepted
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have a 2-year gap before reapplying
• Travelers are limited to one year of service within WVU facilities before a mandatory 2-year break
• Background history must be disclosed at time of application

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting
• Valid ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
• Unexpired driver’s license must be provided for consideration
