Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a WY or compact RN license and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius
• Responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
• Electronic timekeeping system is used and staff must clock in and out for shifts
• Candidates must not have outstanding employment with the health system; status must be resigned before assignment consideration
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be eligible at a reduced rate

Requirements

• Active WY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); RQI and RCIS certifications not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number and date of birth required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of contract
• Cannot be currently working a permanent position at any location for this health system
