Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for night shifts on a vascular telemetry unit, requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital vascular telemetry unit (Vascular C5)
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Patient population includes vascular telemetry cases
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
- Competency testing may be required; MS applicants with less than 2 years of experience must pass MS testing within 2 attempts
- No local candidates accepted from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
- More than 3 call outs in a 13-week contract may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry RN experience required
- Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience required for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
- Flu vaccine required unless a medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional
