Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring moderate sedation, current IR experience, and a valid MD or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in an Interventional Radiology department focusing on vascular and image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Provides care for patients with cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, kidney, and other medical conditions
Ten-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times typically between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM
Rotating day off with no block scheduling
Call required: 3 to 4 shifts in a 6-week period, including weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage
Epic Radiant EMR use is preferred
Perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in nearly every organ system
Work emphasizes least invasive techniques to improve patient outcomes and minimize risks
Critical Care Certification and trauma course completion are preferred qualifications

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a strong ICU setting
Current interventional radiology experience required
Experience with moderate sedation required
Experience in hospitals with 500+ beds

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
