Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift assignment requiring a current BLS, NMT or ARRT(N), and a California license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a nuclear medicine department within a clinical or medical foundation setting
  • Day shifts with two possible schedules: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • No weekend or holiday shifts required
  • Patient population consists of individuals requiring nuclear medicine imaging and diagnostic procedures
  • Return staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Only one holiday request off will be approved during the assignment
  • Candidates must be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of offer acceptance

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification required
  • NMT, RHN, or ARRT(N) certification required
  • Active California license required; license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
