Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Texas requiring at least one year of recent ED experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population consists of emergency and acute care cases
• Professional references required for consideration as per state guidelines
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for eligibility
• No first-time travelers accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent experience in an Emergency Department
• Current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
• CPI or equivalent de-escalation training required for all ER staff
• TNCC certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
