Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-ray Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of radiology experience for a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a hospital radiology department
Work schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Involves performing general X-ray procedures including fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures
Adult patient population
EPIC EMR system is used; prior experience is preferred
Must be able to provide proof of state licensure prior to start; conditional licenses are not accepted
Flu vaccine is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Dress code requirements and scrub color will be specified by the facility
Parking may incur costs and is not validated; public transportation is encouraged
Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from central Boston to avoid a local pay adjustment

Requirements

Completion of a two-year AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (license required if applicable)
Active ARRT registration in radiology
Current BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Experience with fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures
