Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a dayshift contract requiring call and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma Center
• Department: Interventional Radiology
• 3x12 hour day shifts with non-consecutive days and variable days off
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• Call coverage required as part of the schedule
• Floating to like units within scope may be required
• Patient care involves interventional radiology procedures
• Uses Epic for charting
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Returned staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as travelers
• Contract limited to a maximum of two consecutive terms; must be gone for 6 months to return
• Scrubs are provided
• RTO requests are subject to manager discretion
• All callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up per department policy
• Facility is a teaching hospital environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Current ARRT registration required
• Experience in IR procedures required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to work days, weekends, and take call
• Locals not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending licenses not accepted
