Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a primarily outpatient role with some inpatient coverage, requiring at least 3 years of experience and a BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is primarily outpatient physical therapy with some inpatient swing bed coverage
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Schedule includes one Saturday shift per month
• No holiday or on-call requirements
• Redoc is used for outpatient documentation and Cerner is used for inpatient documentation
• Clinician will not be treating a neuro population in outpatient
• Dress code is gray scrubs or business casual attire
• Primary duties include evaluating and treating patients in outpatient settings and assisting with inpatient care as needed
• Position is open to first-time travelers
• No neuro population caseload in outpatient
• Supportive interdisciplinary team environment
• No holiday work required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid state physical therapy license required if applicable
• Must be skilled in both outpatient and some inpatient physical therapy
• Experience with Redoc and Cerner systems is preferred
