Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a LA or compact RN license and strong PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Night shift schedule, 7:00pm - 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• May float to pediatric and NICU units as needed
• Uses Allscripts/Paragon EMR
• 13-week contract assignment
• Candidates must wear navy blue scrubs
• No call requirements for this position
• Locals are accepted for this role
• Candidates must provide two references, copy of driver’s license, and Social Security number at the time of consideration

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license is required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Two years of PICU RN experience preferred
• Previous experience in pediatrics and/or NICU is beneficial
• First-time travelers are accepted
