Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology Lab position requiring 2 years of IR experience and on-call availability.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab of a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Department consists of 5 labs including 2 Neuro and 3 Vascular/Body/General IR labs
- Shift is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 4 days per week
- On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time
- Primary duties include supporting interventional radiology procedures in both neuro and vascular/body labs
- Must submit two professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
- Local candidates are eligible to apply but will be offered a reduced pay rate according to the facility radius rule
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
- Holiday coverage is required per department scheduling
- Only one application per candidate is permitted across all open positions within this health system
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, both must be AHA accredited
- Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days before start date
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US address
