Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with a current Hawaii license for a rural hospital assignment providing couplet care.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a rural hospital Labor & Delivery unit in Hawaii
• Patient population includes Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Nursery, Obstetrics, and Postpartum
• Couplet care experience required, with 45-50 deliveries per month
• 12-hour shifts with a typical schedule of 72-80 hours every two weeks
• May float to assist other departments but not as a primary nurse
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring required
• Duties include Labor & Delivery, couplet care, and nursery responsibilities
• Supports 45-50 deliveries each month within a team environment
• Eligible for additional compensation when assigned charge nurse duties
• Reference checks will be conducted via email
• No COVID-19 vaccination required

Requirements

• Active and current Hawaii RN license required
• Minimum of 4 years Labor & Delivery experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Experience in Nursery and couplet care required
• Fetal monitoring competency required
