Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a NY RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday work required
• No call required
• Uses Epic for electronic health records
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• No local contracts permitted within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Team environment with support from fellow ED staff

Requirements

• Active NY RN license is required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• PALS or ENPC certification required for Emergency Department RNs
• TNCC certification preferred
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
