Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Emergency Department position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Position involves 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Caring for a wide range of emergency and acute care patients
• Requests for time off must be less than one week
• Local candidates who live within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this travel position
• Returning travelers may not have recent perm employment with CHS within two years
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in the past year are permitted

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Candidates must not have worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No 90-day or longer gaps in work history in the past 12 months
