Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with an active or in-process IL license for a Level I trauma acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the PACU of an acute care hospital with 18 beds
• Level I trauma center and Magnet designated facility
• Day shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts (8:00-20:30)
• No weekend shifts required
• On-call required 3-4 times per 6-week schedule
• Block scheduling may be discussed with the manager
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Scrubs are provided for this role
• No restrictions for local candidates
• Ideally, no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accommodated
• Parking permit required; provided at no cost and completed during orientation

Requirements

• Active IL RN license or eligibility with application in process
• Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• First-time travelers accepted
