Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 1-3 years of experience, MR certification, and active NJ RT license to join an outpatient imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient imaging setting specializing in MRI procedures
• Schedule is Monday and Friday 11am-7pm, Tuesday through Thursday 1pm-9pm, for a total of 40 hours per week
• Patient care will include positioning for MRI and monitoring during scans
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Uses Epic EMR; prior experience with Epic preferred
• Responsibilities include patient positioning, coil placement, scan sequencing, safety monitoring, and image quality assurance
• Must communicate protocols clearly to patients and maintain safety around MRI equipment
• May be required to float between outpatient locations within the system
• No local candidates will be considered due to radius rule
• Dress code or specific scrub requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• 1-3 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Active NJ State RT license required
• MR certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work independently
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
