Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and national certification for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit
• Day shifts, 4x8.5 hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with block scheduling
• No floating required within the facility
• 75 mile radius rule applies for candidates and locals are not accepted
• Responsibilities include performing a full range of nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring safe radioactive material handling
• On-call requirements may be discussed in interview
• Modules are required during orientation and must be completed annually
• Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed during a 13 week assignment; no RTO permitted in the first 2 weeks
• Proof of permanent address is required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience required
• Current BLS, ARRT(N), CNMT, and Oregon state license required; pending license accepted
• Proficiency in Nuclear Cardiology, GE, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, DTPA Aerosol, Perfusion, Ventricular Shunt, I-123 Uptake Scan, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Pharmacological Stress, Isolation Precautions, IV initiation and maintenance, and safe handling of radioactive material
• Experience with any electronic documentation system is accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• License required if applicable
