Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of general nuclear medicine and therapy experience for a rotating day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Day shifts Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call may be required, with weekday and weekend call shifts assigned
• Work involves both General Nuclear Medicine (routine studies such as bone, gastric, hepatobiliary, and renal scans) and PET/CT rotation
• Uses Siemens cameras including Symbias, Intevo SPECT/CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT
• Adult patient population typical for nuclear medicine procedures
• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals
• Candidates must disclose any previous employment at the facility for rehire eligibility review
• Locals living within a 75-mile radius are not eligible
• Return staff may be considered if gone for at least 6 months
• Call response time is 1 hour for PACU
• Required modules are completed during orientation and annually
• Time off requests must be included at time of submission; requests after offer will not be approved

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years specialty experience in nuclear medicine required
• Current BLS certification required
• Compact or Kentucky state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Experience with Siemens nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment preferred
• References from two supervisors within the last three years required
• No prior licensure issues accepted
• Level 1 trauma experience required for most units
