Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) position with day shifts and OB call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in the LDRP unit with an OB/GYN patient population
• Hospital setting with assignment to both OB and Med Surg units
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Will be on call for OB patients, including walk-ins and scheduled c-sections or inductions
• Facility provides Med Surg training for nurses willing to float
• Floating to different units may be required
• Nurses will work both on the LDRP unit and Med Surg unit as needed
• On-call responsibility for OB-related admissions and procedures
• Facility will accept local candidates at the same rate
• No specific charting system experience required
• No restrictions for returning staff

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
• At least 1 professional reference required
