Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a day shift position requiring structural heart experience and ARRT, BLS, and Fluoro Permit certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a department with 3 cath lab procedure rooms and 1 dedicated electrophysiology lab
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 3 cases per room
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), peripheral vascular angiography and interventions, and EP ablations/device implants
- Day shifts (4x10 hours) from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Schedule includes 5 weekdays per week and 1 weekend
- Scrubs are provided
- Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterization, structural heart procedures, vascular interventions, EP ablations, and device implants
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Any requested time off should be submitted prior to the start of the contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures
- Current BLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Proficiency with surgery/C-arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, and fluoroscopy studies
- Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, and peripheral vascular/venous studies of upper and lower extremities
- License required if applicable
