Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring recent Epic experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Patient population includes adult medical and telemetry cases
• Epic EMR is used and recent experience within the last 6 months is required
• Contract length options of 13 to 18 weeks available
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation
• Qualivis – Lotus will be used for submitting hours worked
• First-time travelers are considered
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months and require a 6-month break before another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic facility
• Must be able to work during assigned holidays as part of the schedule

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required before travel
• Recent Epic charting experience within the past 6 months required
• One recent reference from a supervisor, ANM, manager, director, or charge RN in the specialty is required for consideration
