Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Massachusetts requiring MA licensure and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift position with hours from 19:00 to 07:30
- Care for a diverse patient population including pre-natal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
- Emergency nurses triage and provide immediate intervention, assessment, and discharge teaching for urgent and non-urgent patients
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team across all age groups and levels of acuity
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston will receive a different pay rate
- Parking at some locations may require use of public transportation or payment for public lots
- Adherence to UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required with no conditional or pending status accepted
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with preference for AHA but Red Cross accepted
- Current CPI, MOAB, or AVADE certification required, with ability to complete onsite if needed within 30 days
- Proof of primary source license verification from both NURSYS and state board required
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions permitted
