Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Med/Surg RN with a current Hawaii RN license for 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Adult patient population with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
• 12-hour rotating shifts are required
• Weekend coverage may be required
• Must be able to work consecutive weekends as needed
• Holiday coverage and pay follow specific rules based on shift start time
• No affiliation with Hawaii Health Systems Corporation and no special state compliance process required
• Local candidates are accepted unless otherwise specified

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required prior to contract start
• Minimum of 5 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• Additional certifications such as PALS, NRP, CPI, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS, and other specialty credentials are preferred or may be required based on assignment
