Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring GA or compact licensure and chemotherapy administration experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in an outpatient oncology infusion center
- Provides care to oncology and infusion patients
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- 13-week assignment
- No on-call required
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- Responsible for administering chemotherapy and providing oncology patient care
- Returning perm staff may be considered as travelers only after a two-year break
- Requested time off must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after an offer
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty oncology experience
- BLS certification required
- Experience with chemotherapy administration required
