Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of recent mammography experience and current licensure to join our Radiology Diagnostic team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Radiology Diagnostic unit operating a Hologic mammography unit
• Day shift position, Monday through Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30
• No on-call required for this assignment
• Patient population may vary due to census and unit needs
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Requires rotation between 36 and 48 hours per week on a two-week cycle
• Role focused on mammography screening and diagnostic imaging using Hologic equipment
• Scrub attire requirements not specified
• Bi-weekly orientation and training provided
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• No local candidates accepted per 100 mile radius rule
• Candidates must provide two professional references and a copy of their driver’s license for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography, 2 to 5 years preferred
• Current ARRT (R) (M) certification required
• Active West Virginia Medical Imaging License required
• BLS certification required (AHA accepted only)
• License required if applicable
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
