Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification for a night shift assignment at a Magnet Level II Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital
- Facility is Magnet designated, teaching, and a Level II Trauma Center
- Night shifts: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Floating required to any ICU or Telemetry units as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Weekend shifts are required
- Locals are accepted for this assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Up to 7 days of RTO allowed, with approval for one holiday off
- No on-call required
- Free parking provided
- No specific scrub color required, but camouflage and character patterns are not allowed
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum two years of recent ICU RN experience required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
- Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years required
