Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification for a night shift assignment at a Magnet Level II Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital
• Facility is Magnet designated, teaching, and a Level II Trauma Center
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Floating required to any ICU or Telemetry units as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Weekend shifts are required
• Locals are accepted for this assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Up to 7 days of RTO allowed, with approval for one holiday off
• No on-call required
• Free parking provided
• No specific scrub color required, but camouflage and character patterns are not allowed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum two years of recent ICU RN experience required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years required
