Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least one year of experience, MD or compact RN license, and required on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Two dedicated Cath Labs and one Hybrid OR for specialized cardiac procedures
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-call required, including up to 10 weekday evenings and 3 weekends per contract
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Procedures performed include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural interventions, PFO closure, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
• Uses GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab; documentation in Epic EMR; utilizes IVUS and FFR equipment
• Perform cardiac cath lab nursing duties including monitoring, assisting with procedures, and providing patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiac team in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Compliance with holiday and call schedule is required
• Local travel nurses are accepted at a reduced pay rate

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Scrub experience is preferred but not required
• Strong candidates with travel experience or strong background considered; first-time travelers accepted
