Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Med Surg assignment requiring a MO or compact RN license, recent Pediatric Med Surg experience, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Pediatrics Med Surg unit
  • Cares for pediatric patients requiring medical-surgical care
  • Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30)
  • Travel assignment with a 13-week contract
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • The hospital is a nicotine-free campus and tests for nicotine use

Requirements

  • Active MO or compact state RN license required at time of consideration
  • Current PALS and BLS certifications required from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg and Pediatrics experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience is required
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 12 months required
  • Date of birth and Social Security number must be provided for consideration
