Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Nevada requiring a current NV RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

Position is based in the Labor & Delivery department of a hospital setting
Shift is 7:00PM to 7:00AM on a 13-week contract
Care for laboring patients, mothers, and newborns in an acute setting
Provide comprehensive care throughout all stages of labor and delivery
May work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Appropriate documentation and profile details required for consideration
No Canadian SSNs will be accepted

Requirements

Active NV RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred; at least 1 year required
Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, 9th Edition, from AAP required
Intermediate or advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
Professional reference required in accordance with state rules
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
No local candidates; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
