Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry position with night shifts and telemetry experience in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg-7A unit of a hospital setting
• Care for adult patients requiring both medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating to similar units may be required
• Support a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• References required as per state guidelines (not required for Louisiana)
• US Social Security Number and DOB required for consideration
• Relevant documentation, including license verification and certifications, must be provided
• Night and holiday coverage may be required according to unit needs

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience in medical-surgical/telemetry settings
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC, valid through entire contract
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not eligible
