Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Telemetry RN with AL or compact RN license for a 13-week assignment on a medical unit requiring every other weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position based on the 4th Floor Medical unit of a hospital
• Unit has 15 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Patient population consists of medical telemetry cases
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend work required
• Float to float pool or like units as needed within skillset
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting is done using Epic EMR
• Duties include providing nursing care and monitoring medical telemetry patients
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Team-based unit with float support from float pool and like units

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to similar units as needed
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
