Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact RN license and strong telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

Work in a combined Med Surg/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6
Hospital setting utilizing Meditech EMR
Day shift, 07:00-19:30, with 36/48 hour weekly rotation
13-week contract assignment
Orientation provided bi-weekly
No local candidates accepted due to 100 mile radius requirement
Travel pairs are not allowed unless unit has multiple needs
First-time travelers are accepted
Copy of driver's license may be required for consideration

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
