Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with 2+ years of recent radiology experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• Shifts are from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• No local candidates permitted who reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties (50 mile radius)
• Competency testing and clinical interview assessment are required for consideration
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination and make-up shifts are required within six weeks from the last call out
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of application
• Travel pairs are not permitted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in MRI or radiology tech specialty
• Active NYS license required if applicable
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional
