Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and recent critical care experience for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Contract assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patients require advanced monitoring, with potential exposure to dialysis or SLED procedures
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Role involves providing high acuity care to critically ill patients
• Candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary ICU team
• Compliance with hospital dress code required
• Local and travel rates are the same and local candidates are accepted
• Assignments cannot exceed two years without a 90-day break per HR policy
• COVID and flu vaccination may be required depending on current regulations

Requirements

• Active CA RN license at the time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth must be provided
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and CCRN certification preferred
• Two years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and dialysis/SLED experience preferred
