Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need ICU position in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Care for critically ill adult patients in an ICU environment
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• May be required to assist with dialysis or SLED treatments
• Compliance with COVID and Flu vaccination requirements may be necessary
• Internal HR tenure policy limits assignment duration to a maximum of two years without a 90-day break
• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same pay rate

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Dialysis, SLED or equivalent experience preferred
