Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need ICU position in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
- 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Care for critically ill adult patients in an ICU environment
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- May be required to assist with dialysis or SLED treatments
- Compliance with COVID and Flu vaccination requirements may be necessary
- Internal HR tenure policy limits assignment duration to a maximum of two years without a 90-day break
- Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ICU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
- 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred
- CCRN certification preferred
- Dialysis, SLED or equivalent experience preferred
