Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a full-time travel assignment in a rehabilitation center.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a rehabilitation center within the physical therapy department
• Work schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates permitted; 50-mile radius rule applies
• Physical Therapists are responsible for patient assessment, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy interventions
• Travelers are expected to integrate into a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• First-time travelers are considered based on required experience
• Candidates must be prepared to wear attire appropriate for a rehabilitation setting

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist
• Must have 6 months of relevant experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Social Security Number (US only) and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required: two for Florida and Missouri, one for all other states
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
