Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 18 months to 2 years of experience and ARRT MR certification for evening shifts using Siemens MRI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an MRI unit with emphasis on pediatric imaging
• 5x8 hour evening shifts from 15:30 to 23:30, Monday through Friday
• Use of Siemens MRI equipment is required
• Documentation using Cerner EMR is required
• Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All travelers will float as needed based on facility requirements
• Local candidates are accepted
• Returning permanent or PRN employees must be away for 12 months before being eligible for traveler positions
• Candidates may automatically request up to 5 days of RTO
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements

• Current ARRT MR and BLS certifications are required
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not required
• Cerner charting experience is required
• Degree must be from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• License required if applicable
• IN or Compact state license must be in hand for start dates 2-4 weeks out
