Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital Magnet facility with a dedicated interventional radiology unit
• Day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call coverage required for weekdays (6:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 24 hours on weekends
• Required to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Patient caseload and specific procedures typical for interventional radiology
• Uses Epic EMR and experience with Epic is required
• Scrub color of choice permitted
• Free parking available for staff
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is allowed; RTO must be addressed at time of submission and is subject to approval
• All travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required for employment
• No specific scrub color requirement
• Call response time is within 30 minutes
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent interventional radiology experience required
• Current certification(s) required relevant to the role
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Two supervisory references from within the past three years in a comparable specialty required
• SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
• License required if applicable
