Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient position with Sunday and weekday shifts and an active MI license required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting with a focus on patient assessment, treatment planning, and education
• Work schedule includes Sundays 8am-12pm and Monday through Thursday 8am-5:30pm
• No on-call required
• Delegates tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
• Main responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing goal-specific treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers
• Written treatment plans must be coordinated with physicians and updated as needed
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
• Requested time off cannot exceed five days and must be submitted prior to offer
• Local travelers can only complete one travel assignment at this location

Requirements

• Completed PT program and current, active Michigan Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• PT experience required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Two supervisory references from the last two years required
• Recent skills checklist pertinent to physical therapy required
• Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
