Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Cardiac position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least two years of recent experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital cardiac stepdown unit
Night shift position with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, 6:45pm to 7:15am
Biweekly orientation held on Mondays
Professional appearance required; any color scrubs are acceptable, including child-friendly print tops and scrub/lab coats
Nicotine-free campus policy applies
Two professional references from the past two years are required for consideration

Requirements

Active VA or compact state RN license; candidates with pending certification will be considered
Minimum two years of recent cardiac stepdown experience required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
First time travelers are not eligible for this position
Must reside outside a 60 mile radius from the facility
