Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position specializing in stroke care, requiring a FL or compact license and recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit on Floor 2 with a focus on stroke patients
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a diverse medical-surgical and stroke patient population
• No local travelers accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the worksite
• Requests for time off must be less than 1 week in duration
• Night shift role involves providing care primarily for stroke and general Med/Surg patients
• RNs are expected to integrate quickly into a fast-paced Med/Surg environment

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of the start date
• Must have no 90-day gaps in work history within the past 12 months
• Applicants must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
