Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift operating room contract.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
- Requires experience with orthopedic trauma, craniotomy, and Level II trauma cases
- Uses the Epic EMR system
- On-call required: two weeknights every 6 weeks and one weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts, days or nights) every month and a half
- Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 75-mile radius
- Experience with orthopedic trauma, craniotomy, and Level II trauma cases is required
- First-time travelers welcome with at least 3 years of experience
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during the 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license required; pending licenses considered on a case-by-case basis
- Minimum 3 years of operating room RN experience required
- Current BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Must provide proof of address for consideration
