Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of Level I Trauma Center experience and active ARRT R and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital at a Level I Trauma Center
• Bi-campus coverage required between two hospital campuses
• Schedule includes two 12-hour shifts (7:30am-8pm) and two 8-hour shifts (either 7am-3:30pm or 11:30am-8pm)
• No weekends or on-call required
• Must be able to float between campuses within clinical scope as needed
• Charting is done using Epic EMR; prior Epic experience preferred
• Patient population consists of a variety of acute and trauma cases
• Scrubs in Misty Green (OR scrubs) will be provided
• Parking is available at a cost of $125
• Returning employees must have been gone for at least 2 years to be eligible as travelers
• A radius rule applies; candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility unless otherwise specified
• Up to 7 days of requested time off can be auto approved; requests over 7 days require approval
• Travelers may be required to participate in emergency response activities

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience in a Level I Trauma Center at a large facility
• Current ARRT R and BLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start date
• Flu vaccination is required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless religious/medical exemption provided
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Reference required for consideration
