Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift role, requiring a MO or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Floating to other units is required
• Use of Cerner EMR preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Holiday coverage required for at least half of holidays during contract
• RTO (request for time off) must be provided at the time of consideration
• Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• American Heart Association certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Med/Surg
• Ability to work assigned weekends and at least 50% of holidays during the contract period
