Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of comprehensive cath lab diagnostic and interventional experience, including structural procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level IV trauma center designation
• Major teaching hospital environment
• Cath Lab unit with an average caseload of 8-10 cases daily per tech
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call is required, with a 30-minute response time and weekend call rotation from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Floating to other facilities is not required, though floating within the hospital may occur if needed
• Cerner is used for charting
• First-time travelers are not accepted; prior travel experience required
• Scrubs are provided
• Free parking is available for travelers
• No restrictions for requested time off
• 100-mile radius rule applies; candidates within 75-99 miles may be considered with facility approval

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of current cath lab experience, including competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures with structural heart expertise
• Active WV license required at start; pending license accepted during application
• ARRT registration required
• RCIS is not recognized as valid licensure for cath lab work in WV
• BLS/ACLS certification if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver’s license and Social Security number required
