Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and a valid AL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a 42-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 19:00 – 07:30)
• Patient ratios are typically up to 1:6 or 1:7
• Facility is a 400-bed hospital and a level 2 trauma center
• Work involves providing telemetry and medical-surgical care to diverse patient populations
• Night shifts required throughout the contract
• Level 2 trauma setting may involve higher acuity patients
• Required to provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security number during onboarding

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license, or proof of application for AL licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility
