Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a night shift position in Oklahoma requiring a compact or OK state RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med Surg unit within a hospital setting
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Required to work 6 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period
No on-call responsibilities
Primary duties include administering medications, changing dressings, inserting catheters, starting IVs, adjusting medical equipment, and monitoring patient vitals
Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be considered
Local candidates will be considered
Must provide a skills checklist and two supervisory references from the past two years for consideration

Requirements

Active OK or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience required
Recent travel nursing experience preferred
