Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 26-week assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Patient population includes typical med/surg cases
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed and must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible with specific contract limitations
• After completing three consecutive 13-week local contracts, local staff must either separate for at least one year or transition to another facility outside the 50-mile range before returning

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal is scheduled
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
