Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with CA licensure and Interventional Radiology experience for a hospital day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
  • Day shift position with four 10-hour shifts per week and variable start times
  • May be floated to other sites or units within a 75-mile radius based on operational needs
  • Patient population requires conscious sedation and IV therapy
  • Travel pairs are accepted but will not be assigned to the same unit
  • Circulating, ventilator, and charge nurse experience preferred
  • Experience at a teaching hospital is preferred
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of offer; additional RTO is not approved post-contract
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Training modules must be completed prior to start and annually, with some required pre-assignment

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural area required
  • Prior Interventional Radiology and conscious sedation experience required
  • IV skills required
  • Proof of COVID vaccination and booster required
  • Must have prior travel nursing experience within the past 12 months
